Sample campaign — setup runbook

1. Shopify admin — product setup

• Russell has added the new sample product to Shopify (Unleashed sync complete)
• Product has a price greater than £0 (zero-priced products break the discount gate)
• Product status set to Active
• Sample campaign metafield set to true (scroll to the bottom of the product page)
• Title, description, and image set as desired
• Settings → Shipping and delivery → Sample campaign — UK Free profile → add the new product to it

2. Theme — campaign page copy

• Online Store → Themes → Customize (on the live theme)
• Top-centre dropdown → Pages → Sample campaign template
• Update Our Story heading, body, and optional image
• Update Q1, Q2, Q3 text and options (one option per line — press Shift+Enter for a new line)
• Update form heading, email placeholder, submit button, and small print as needed
• Update state copy as needed: claimed / offer-closed / UK-only / unavailable / error
• Pick the campaign source code (?src= value, e.g. instagram_may) — this is just for tracking, no setup needed
• Save the theme

3. Klaviyo — new coupon & sign-up form

Shortcut: if you don't mind previous-campaign customers being blocked from this one, skip the new-coupon steps. Just edit the existing Sample Campaign Code coupon, swap the “Specific products” selection to the new product, and skip ahead to phase 4.

• Klaviyo → Coupons → Create new coupon
• Name it (no spaces, e.g. autumn_campaign)
• Type: Percentage, 100% off
• Applies to: Specific products → select the new sample product
• Activation: At send time; set expiration as required
• Save — then wait a few minutes for the codes to generate (this is the “gotcha” from the demo)
• Klaviyo → Sign-up forms → Sample campaign signup → Edit form
• Click the Success view → click the discount code element → swap to the new coupon
• Publish the form

4. Test & launch

• Visit the campaign URL with the new ?src= value — the quiz should render correctly
• Submit with a fresh email → checkout should show the discount applied and free UK shipping
• Re-submit with the same email → the “already claimed” message fires and the checkout redirect is blocked
• Share the campaign URL via Instagram / your chosen channel
